Black Belt Selling Tinsel Town Interview Featuring Anna Scheller @SchellerAnna

Posted on April 18th, 2016 by & filed under Everything Miz Meliz, See the Video on YouTube, Tinsel Town Live 2016, Workshops and Webinars

Did you know that when my kids were small, I practiced Karate? Yep – sparring, grappling, the whole thing. I was even a sempei (assistant instructor!) I had a pretty good round house kick, too! Hi-yah!

I also have a little bit of a background in sales. I was a retail sales manager and I studied business and marketing in college. When I worked as an executive administrative assistant at a large bank, I attended sales management training. Interesting. You are wondering what does that have to do with Karate, Miz Meliz?

Well, I never thought the two would come together until I met my new friend, Anna Scheller. Anna is an author, speaker, trainer, and coach. She is the host of Sales Mastery on the Amazing Women of Power radio show. She just published a new book and is launching a new training program. Guess what the principles of self development and entrepreneurship Anna is gifted in. Go on, guess!

Everyone who signs up for Anna’s newsletter between now and Friday, April 29, 2016 will have a chance for a free seat in the program.

If you know Anna, you might not have guessed that she has a Black Belt in Taekwondo. Having a background in sales training, she naturally combines the two in her new program, Black Belt Selling. (I know, I gave it away in the title of this blog post! But you will be glad I did, because I am willing to bet you will remember that and want to Google Black Belt Selling!)

Don’t miss this episode of Tinsel Town Tonight! Especially if you have an interest in martial arts and entrepreneurship or sales mastery. I will interview Anna live on Tuesday, April 19, 2016  at 6:00 PM, Pacific Time.

Discipline, Confidence, Strength, and Leadership. I believe these are tools that we all should know. . .

That’s what this is about, baby!

Anna Scheller

Anna enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and practicing taekwondo.

“I am passionate about helping people achieve their dreams by growing their income through sales training and business coaching.”

In May 2016, Anna will be leading a four week program called Black Belt Selling. In this program, she helps people develop the qualities they need to push through the blocks that keep them from closing more sales.

Everyone who signs up for Anna’s newsletter between now and Friday, April 29, 2016 will have a chance for a free seat in the program.

Have you ever thought the things you are passionate about, the hobbies, sports, or interests, would help you in life and in business?

If you have a story like this, please share it. I know having a little experience with Karate sure helped me when I was raising my three sons. A lot of the confidence I built in those classes is still with me today. It was an amazing experience for me.

The L.A. Women’s Theatre Festival is a multi-cultural festival of solo artists. I am happy to support these talented and inspiring artists!

What began as a coming together of female solo artists to collectively support each other has now become the oldest solo festival for women in Los Angeles and has honored well over 50 deserving women in theatre.  The festival has brought together well over 500 solo artists from around the world, who year after year join hands to share their many heartwarming and personal stories. Audiences have become inspired, impacted and empowered to give testimony: they are not alone in their many experiences that have been mirrored on LAWTF stages over the last nineteen years.

On Thursday, March 24th, I had the chance to attend the Opening Night Champagne Gala that kicked off the Festival for 2016! It was lovely to see all the performers and be there for the L.A. Women’s Theatre Festival’s 23rd Anniversary Awards Ceremony. It was such an honor to be there! My husband and I enjoyed it. It was a full house at the Electric Lodge Theater in Venice, CA.

Thank you to my good friend and fellow blogventure enthusiast, Mary Lansing, of Along Comes Mary Blog, for letting me know about the festival. I am not being paid nor was I asked to share the information about the festival. I am donating my time, my Kindle book offer, and my support with social media shares and reviews for the purpose of sharing what I like and enjoy with you. See my disclosure for more information on why I write posts like this.

Meet A Genuine Original on Tinsel Town Tonight @WinKellyCharles @TenMiniTT #TTT

Posted on January 6th, 2016 by & filed under Books, Everything Miz Meliz, Quotes & Notes, See the Video on YouTube, Tinsel Town Live 2016

I enjoyed preparing to interview this lovely lady who is a profound influencer. She is a standout personality in the live streaming community. I am so pleased to have met her and I know that one day, I will meet her in person and we will be great friends. We still have so much to discover about one another, but I know we have a few things in common. Both podcasters and live streamers we also have the same guilty pleasures, sugar and chocolate. We both have published books, although hers are much more creative and inspiring. We have both struggled with the loss of loved ones.

The main difference between us is that am I free to move about and I have control of my muscles and my body does what I want it to for the most part. My new friend does not have this luxury, having been born with cerebral palsy. Yet, she manages to do some amazing things that I do not consider physically possible for me to do, like snowboard!

This list of positive statements sums up the kind of inspiration that I think about when I contemplate my friendship with Win Kelly Charles:

Be YOU.
A genuine original.
Find your voice and make a difference.
Don’t forget where you came from, but never lose sight of where you are going.
Believe in your gifts.
Cherish them and explore their possibilities.
Make mistakes and don’t be afraid to ask questions.
Be brave and wild at heart.
Embrace all the things that make you unique.
Be passionate about the things that matter to you.
Practice kindness and compassion.
Be a hero to someone.
Demonstrate character and be a good friend.
Become someone that you will be proud of when you look back on your life.
And remember that all the quirky things about yourself, that sometimes you wish were different, are really the most special.
Because YOU are the real thing.
-Louise Carey

I would like to introduce you to Win Charles!

Win will be my first guest on Tinsel Town Tonight in 2016.

My Coca-Cola Party @Keurig #KeurigKOLD #LiveKOLD #sponsored

Posted on December 27th, 2015 by & filed under Everything Miz Meliz, Product Reviews, See the Video on YouTube

I am over the moon excited to review the new Keurig® KOLD™. Thanks to The Coca-Cola Company for making my Christmas wish come true by sending me a party pack with some fun surprises in time for my Christmas Eve party this year. The Coca-Cola Company provided me with a Keurig® KOLD™ for this review. All opinions are my own. The Coca-Cola Company is not a sponsor, administrator or connected in any other way with this website. See my Disclosure for details on why I share stories like this one.

My Keurig® KOLD™ Experience

CocaCola Melissa and Colin

I am most grateful for my supportive and loving family this Christmas

My Christmas wish this year was to have a fun night of entertaining friends and family at our home with a theme that they would love. In years past we had ugly sweater parties, crazy hat parties, dinner parties, and elegant parties, and they have all been super fun. This year I wanted to make it easy, casual, and Christmassy. I decided on a Red & White Holiday Party.

My husband, Lito, and I hosted twenty guests all wearing our favorite “Coca-Cola colors” and I decorated our home in red and white. We got festive Christmas hats for everyone to wear and I organized a Secret Santa gift exchange. Lito planned the entertainment and the boys helped with the set up. It was your typical family affair!

I served our traditional family Christmas meal of New Mexico Style Posole for dinner, which I made ahead and let stew all day. It was the perfect thing for a cold blustery evening. I also ordered pizza and our friend, Kristen, brought a yummy Greek salad. My sister-in-law, Jennifer, agreed to bring her famous Linzer Torte cookies for dessert. She loves to bake and try new things, so she was up to the challenge when my boys requested that she make a “pie-cake-in” in addition to the cookies.

Lito and the group

Lito and the group

Getting the Keurig® KOLD™ drink machine was just the thing to make this event a celebration. Ice cold soda is what we wanted to serve and this made it quick and easy. It was so much fun to include our friends and family in the taste testing and enjoyment of the machine. We used our Coca-Cola glasses and made it a Coca-Cola Christmas!

The Keurig® KOLD™ is the first personal cold beverage system that makes drinks chillingly cold at a push of a button, just like the Keurig coffee maker does with hot beverages. It makes soda fountain style sparkling and still soft drinks in seconds (well, 90 seconds) right in your own home.

What I loved most about having the machine was the space it saved. Some would say it took up a lot of space because the machine is quite large. But I enjoyed not having to buy and carry cases of cans or bottles of soda, storing them, chilling them, and then filling my recycle bin with the empty bottles. I had enough glasses for everyone, and half-way through the party, I collected the empties, quickly washed them in the sink and used them again. I didn’t have to buy bags of ice either.

Colin, likes things flashy and cool!

Colin, likes things flashy and cool!

When I asked my son, Colin, what he thought of the Keurig® KOLD™, he said, “It was flashy cool and fun for parties!” He felt the drinks tasted the same as their traditional counterparts. He thought the 8 oz size drinks made for better portion control considering that we drink way too much soda here in the U.S.

We had a variety of drink flavors to offer our guests. We were supplied with plenty of Coke, Diet Coke, Fanta Orange, Sprite, Root-beer, and Diet Root-beer for the party. Currently the price for the pods is on the high side. ($5 for 4 pods, each pod makes one 8 oz. drink.) Just like the pods for Keurig coffee did, I expect the price will become more affordable in time. I imagine there will be party packs that could be purchased in bulk.

Alex and Kristen had a chance to talk while tasting a Sprite

For twenty people, we used about 60 pods. We also served bottled water, coffee, egg nog, and hot cocoa. Had I bought the pods I would have stayed on budget by reducing the extras I usually get for parties that add up, like cheese and olives, and other appetizers and desserts. I kept it simple by asking my sisters for help and keeping the meal very casual. Since soda in bottles and cans is so inexpensive, I feel the need to justify the cost of the pods. Yet, if money isn’t an issue, the drink machine is the way to go for any party. It was effortless, quick, and provided fun, fresh, and excellent quality refreshment for my guests.

Sharing the experience of using the new Keurig® KOLD™ drink maker with my family and friends was such a joy! I wanted to do something fun with the group and bring them all into my blogging life. Not everyone understands what I do or why, yet they try to be helpful and supportive of my endeavors. I am grateful for each and every one of them and not only for what they do to support me, but for how they support their community and other people.

We are a diverse group of friends and family who all love to help others and bring joy all year long to those most in need. This is our way of sharing the joy that we have in our hearts. My brother and sister-in-law both work in fields where they are directly helping people in our community every day. They have engaged their kids and friends to do the same. It was fun to give back and serve the people in my life who are always serving others. Read more about Jonathan Lopez and his work with the homeless here: “Creating Lasting Change”

Having some fun with my family and friends and bringing them into “my world” was super exciting. We shared on social media all of our first impressions of the The Keurig® KOLD™ and Coca-Cola products we tried. We live Tweeted, shared on Instagram, Kanvas, Facebook, You Tube, and even live streamed on Blab!

My Secret Santa sent a box full of Coca-Cola Santa hats for the entire group!

The Keurig® KOLD™ drinkmaker is the perfect party host. If you have ever rented a margarita machine or made smoothies or floats for your guests, you know the joy of serving up a fresh made drink to everyone’s delight. There is so much you can do with this drinkmaker.

Roman was a great host, serving up drinks like a pro

My son, Roman, loved it! He thought it was cool because he could put the glass down and start it, go do something else, and come back and have his Coke. He was quite the host, serving everyone and showing them how the machine and the pods worked to make fresh chilled drinks.

Roman helped me with all the set up for the party, especially the shopping. He picked out the hats, decorations, and cool Coke beverage glasses. He is a star!

Bree liked it!

In the future we plan to try out other flavors and create new ways to share the Keurig® KOLD™ experience at other theme parties. We want to try the mojito and margarita mixers as well as the teas and other still and sparkling drinks that are available in pods. The possibilities are endless!

Chill Out

Kermit and Adam

Kermit and Adam

My friend, Meredith, hosted the live stream show on Blab for me while we shared the event with our online guests. This is a great way to party with the folks who couldn’t be there in person. Meredith read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas to get the show started. Lito and Roman performed songs from the hit Broadway show, Hamilton, as well as a few Christmas songs. Melissa and Adam Ohl performed a variety of songs and brought a special surprise guest, Kermit the Frog! Meredith graced us with a flawless rendition of O Holy Night as the finale of the show. I will watch this video again and again, it was so wonderful! (If I do say so myself!)

Julian was in the spirit of Christmas and Coke!

Julian was in the spirit of Christmas and Coke!

I asked my son, Julian, what he thought of the Keurig® KOLD™, and he said he thinks of it as a very good novelty machine, but felt that it just doesn’t have every day practicality. Although, he did think it makes a very good Coke. Personally, every day since the party I have enjoyed making myself a refreshing Diet Coke, just like I enjoy my morning coffee – made to suit my taste in a single portion. Knowing that Julian lives at a college frat house, I would think having a self chilling machine to serve up individual drinks would be practical, but what do I know?

Shari enjoyed the entertainment

One concern I always have when I host parties is running out of ice. Our ice-maker always runs out and getting bagged ice from the store poses it’s own issues. It takes up space on the counter to put out an ice bucket, bowl, or chest and the ice makes a mess as it melts. Setting out pitchers or punch-bowls with iced drinks is also a problem because the ice melts and waters down the drink. Having a cold drink to start with eliminates the need for added ice, and if you do add ice – it doesn’t melt fast because it is already chilled.

Drink Up

CocaCola Roman and Lito

Roman and Lito entertaining our guests with song

I wanted to try the Keurig® KOLD™ for many reasons, but mainly to surprise my husband. He is a huge fan of Coca-Cola products. He loves using the Coca-Cola Freestyle and will go out of his way to go to restaurants and movie theaters that feature them. This was his chance to entertain in style, Coca-Cola and Keurig® KOLD™ style.

My husband, Lito, shared with me that his main concern was the time it took to make each drink at the party. 90 seconds seemed like a long time when you want to serve your guests. He felt that although there was a lot of waiting involved, the flavor of the Diet Coke and Fanta Orange was spot on. He liked the ice cold temperature of each drink. It was perfect every time. All in all, he enjoyed the experience and loved the surprise!

Worth the wait? Dave and Jennifer weren't so sure.

Worth the wait? Dave and Jennifer weren’t so sure.

All our guests loved trying the machine and tasting the drinks. The only time I had a problem with the wait time was when I was serving my brother’s father-in-law, Dave. He was so sweet and listened to the whole story of how I came to be reviewing this amazing product at our party. I told him all about it, and then proceeded to demonstrate how quick and easy it was to make a drink. And, we waited and watched. Nothing. apparently the machine was going through a chill cycle or something because we literally waited for over three minutes and I restarted the process. Another minute and a half, which felt like forever, and the drink was dispensed. He drank it, he liked it, but he wasn’t very impressed. The wait time ruined it for him. However, he loved the Fanta Orange!

Jonathan and Jennifer enjoying the diet root-beer

Jonathan and Jennifer enjoying the diet root-beer

One thing that everyone agreed on was the taste of the drinks matched or exceeded their expectations. Everyone has their favorite soda, and we had enough variety to satisfy everyone’s taste. My brother, Jonathan, drinks diet soft drinks, and prefers root-beer. I knew I could count on him and my sister-in-law for an honest opinion.

Jennifer said she loved how cold the root-beer came out, “I usually don’t like ice in my drinks so it was perfect for me and delicious.”

Jonathan really liked the Diet Coke, he said it was “cold, delicious, and sparkly!” He also admitted that he wouldn’t be drinking the diet root-beer again, it didn’t suit him. That was good to know. I thought the diet root-beer was fine, but it didn’t taste like any I had tried before. Like my brother, I loved the Diet Coke!

Thanks again to all of my guests and to the Coca-Cola Company for this fun and wonderful experience! Let me know what you think. Would you try the Keurig® KOLD™ at your next party?

Where is your favorite hang out?

I love to hang out by the Lake! Toronto is right on the edge of Lake Ontario, and unfortunately city planning did a poor job of integrating the surrounding city with the lakeshore. Being from Vancouver, I am used to living close to the ocean and I just LOVE having a big body of water like this close by. In south Etobicoke there are a couple park areas where you can hang out in the summer, and that reminds me of home, and is where I like to be on a nice hot day!

Susan loves to get involved in what’s happening in Nashville on the food scene: it’s grown alarmingly.
She says her family is very creative: husband’s music has been Emmy nominated, and he does music you hear on ads on TV, my daughter has had a national ad with Subaru that she sang on. My son writes songs, is in a group, sings great, too. Nashville is obviously the perfect town for a creative bunch like us. I just finished doing an Apple Pie demo for the Williams-Sonoma in Nashville at the Mall at Green Hills. It’s a very posh place. I had the time of my life. Took to it like a duck takes to water. Totally in my element, doing what I was born to do: cook, teach, interact, laugh, charm, and eat pie.

Ten Minutes in Tinsel Town with Jeffrey A Barnes @DrDisneyland

Posted on September 27th, 2015 by & filed under #SPARKLE Tinsel Town Tonight Interviews, Affiliate Links, Books, See the Video on YouTube, TenMiniTT 2015

On this episode of Ten Minutes in Tinsel Town, I have the pleasure of introducing you to Mr. Jeffrey A. Barnes, the author of the new book, The Wisdom of Walt: Leadership Lessons From the Happiest Place on Earth. Jeffrey is a Disney historian and even teaches a college course on the History of Disneyland.

You may know, I love Disneyland and everything to do with Walt Disney. I was happily surprised to get to see Dr. Disneyland himself, Jeffrey A. Barnes, speak at the Entertainment New Media Conference this month in Hollywood, CA. He told his amazing story about how he overcame the odds and was able to write and publish his book. He is a talented story teller. He has a special way of bringing you along on his journey.

11870745_850356798379172_3841608876313040947_nJeff loves Disneyland, and he is also a huge baseball & football fan. He loves to travel, visit baseball stadiums, and play video games. Jeff and his wife have a wonderful family and would seem to have the classic fairy-tale life. But, like the Disney stories we all know and love, it didn’t come easily. When Jeff had the chance to start teaching his most beloved topic, the history of Disneyland which he had been preparing his whole life, he was given the news that he had a brain tumor and needed surgery within days. When he realized the recovery from the surgery, even if it was benign, would jeopardize the class from taking place, perhaps ever – you won’t believe what he did.

Find out about how it all came together and resulted in the publishing of his dream project, The Wisdom of Walt:  Leadership Lessons from The Happiest Place on Earth  in my interview with Jeffrey on  Blab.im and Meerkat.

Please join me and the author of The Wisdom of Walt, and find out how Disneyland can inspire and motivate each of us to live a great story and be the best possible version of ourselves.

When I spoke to the attendees at the recent Entertainment New Media Network Conference in Hollywood, CA – I talked to them about following their passions and using new technology to deliver their message. Video is the way to reach people around the world through social media like You Tube, Periscope, and Meerkat. I told them why I like to broadcast my show, Ten Minutes in Tinsel Town live on Blab.im. Since we had a great mix of experienced YouTubers, Streamers, and Scopers in the room, I asked them to write down their interest in video or their preference, what is the name of their show or what they would call it if they had one, and a tip or a question about vlogging. Here is what they submitted along with the answers that I promised them:

What New and Upcoming Vloggers Want to Know

1. Mary Ann of @Lilmondu

Mary Ann would like to do a show on You Tube. Her blog is A Cloth Life

Her question: How do you know what to vlog about vs. blog about? How do you choose a focus if you blog about, “whatever?”

Great question, Mary Ann! Personally, I think it is the same for both bloggin and vlogging. Focus on the things that you like to talk about. Share your story and you can’t go wrong.

2. Anita Utami of @OneSleepyMommy

Anita just started using Periscope and she likes it! Her blog’s name is One Sleepy Mommy. She doesn’t have a You Tube account yet.

Her question: How do you make sure that you are not oversharing your life on video?  How do you overcome your hesitance to be on the video. (I mean, my teeth are so crooked!)

I appreciate your candor Anita! I try not to think about the spaces in my teeth or my gray hair showing through. I just smile and shine my joyfulness about life and hope that is what the people see when they look at me. If they are nit-picky about how I look, they aren’t my audience anyway. As far as oversharing, it is wise to keep that to a minimum. Share the facts but not all the circumstances. Share how it made you feel, not all the details. When in doubt, leave it out. I like to make an outline or a list of what I want to share to keep me on track.

3. Liz Parker of @YesNoFilms

Liz says she doesn’t vlog much, she mostly does written film reviews. She might try You Tube. She likes Google Hangouts and Skype, but mostly for personal conversations. She has two blogs. Yes/NoFilms.com and BooksIThinkYouShouldRead.com

Her question: How is Meerkat different from Periscope.

Meerkat and Periscope are very similar in that they both allow you to stream live video using your cell phone. They are great for videos on the go. The only thing that differentiates them from each other are their features. I suggest trying both and choosing what appeals to you best. You might like Periscope for some things and Meerkat for others.

I find Meerkat to be a great community and I receive a lot of support from the people that I have met and follow on that platform. I also like the Cameo Feature, Picture Sharing, Screenshots, being able to take a Poll, and I never miss a comment because I can scroll back and see them all. I can also save the videos indefinitely to my Meerkat Library and Embed a player on my website. I am not familiar with the features on Persicope, but I love that it is easy to use and sometimes I enjoy seeing all those hearts float by.

4. Summer Rumsey of @Summerscraps

She might do a vlog that she will call, “Summer’s Scoops” and her blog is SummerScraps.com

Her Question: What tools do you use? Do you use special camera mounts, like selfie sticks?

You don’t need any special tools to make a video these days, other than your cell phone Summer. If you have an iPhone or an Android, there are apps that you can use to make wonderful videos. It’s easy to post them right to You Tube and even edit them in the app.

If you want to try out some cool tools, here are a few suggestions: I use a desk lamp with a vellum covering to diffuse the light and get a soft glow. I use a camera tripod with a cell phone attachment to hold the phone steady. I always put my phone in airplane mode, which helps with limiting interruptions. I use my earbuds and built in mic or a lapel microphone for the best sound.

5. Jana Seitcer of @MerlotMommy

If she had a show on Periscope or You Tube she would call it “Merlot Mommy” or “Wine Wednesday” or “Travel Tips Tuesday.”

Her question: What are your best quick editing tips?

When it comes to editing my show for You Tube and iTunes, I use Wonder Share Editing Software and Movie Maker for Windows. I try to cut out long pauses (dead air) and any references to specific dates. I also remove any silly mistakes like mispronouncing a name or place. I make it quick by going through it one time and not obsessing about all the “imperfections.” I trim it for time and if I feel fancy, I add some captions and some music. Then I add an opening sequence and record the closing. This all takes time and I like it to look a certain way.

Since live streaming is seen instantaneously, I don’t edit it anymore. What you see is what you get. So, I try to be mindful of speaking clearly and taking little breaks to keep things fresh. When the show is over, I embed the video directly on my blog and sometimes I put it in it’s “raw” unedited form directly on You Tube. But that’s me. I know I can always go back and edit it later.

6. Francia Benson of @FranciaBenson

Francia blogs at FranciaBensonGoneWild.com She wants to start doing You Tube videos.

She is a poet, journalist, fashion photographer and blogger. She is afraid of making a fool of herself. She says she has a hard time being herself on her blog. She feels self conscious. She has tried to do a few videos and got paralyzed with fear.

Her Question: How can she get over her fear and rock out some awesome vids?

The important thing to remember Francia, is that you don’t have to do video if it isn’t your thing. People will sense your fear and will wonder what is wrong. Don’t do it just to be doing the “in” thing. If you are passionate about trying it and want to make it work, you will find your way. There is no hard and fast rule that you have to be “on camera” to make a video. You can show the world what you see from the perspective of being behind the camera lense.

You might consider using a program like Linked In’s Slide Share where you can upload your photos to make a presentation video.

7. Camille Wall of @Camilledashana

Camille would like to use her iPhone video to Periscope and Facebook Live. She would call her show, “Sparks of Magic.” She wonders “What’s stopping me? Nerves. I am scared I will look and sound crazy. Also, I really don’t have much time.”

Her question: How do I overcome the fear of just turning on the camera?

If I were you Camille, I would start by taking short videos with your camera and practice. If you like it and want to try live streaming, do what all the ladies who are doing it and loving it say – – Just start! I know it sounds hard, but if you want it enough, you will do it. For me, I was challenged when someone asked me what was stopping me. I had all the tools I needed and I had wonderful ideas. You have a great name for your show! Run with it! Go for it! After all, what could go right?

These Bloggers are not on Video – – yet!

What advice would you give them to get started in video?

If these ladies are daring enough to go ziplining - they can do anything!

I always knew I would like Anne Parris. Anne blogs at her website “Not A Super Mom” while juggling a lot of other projects. She has a beautiful smile and a friendly online presence. I love her name. Anne. It’s my middle name. (She says it’s everyone’s middle name – she must get that a lot.) Parris. My husband and I, long before we were married, fell in love in Paris, France. Ah, but that is another story! I was looking forward to meeting Anne and we ended up bumping into each other and meeting in person quite by accident. Recognizing each other instantly was a delight – a blessing of social media enthusiasts who develop online friendships and are privy to what people actually look like in real life.

Lunch with The Women of Midlife in Las Vegas at NMX15

The most ironic part of this is that we both look younger than we are, interesting and relevant only because we know each other thanks to a group on Facebook called, The Women of Midlife. The women in the group are amazing and welcoming. Especially Anne. I am in midlife. I am glad I have a place to go to talk about all the things that might only make sense to other women who are at or have been at the same stage in life. They may think that I am tagging along, but they treat me as a valued member. Everyone is honored and respected at WOM. And I imagine that is true at BAM, too. That’s the conference Anne has started. It’s the Bloggers at Midlife Conference.

Anne Really is a Super Mom!

Anne Parris

Anne Parris

@NotaSuperMom

Anne likes to read and drink coffee. She enjoys raising her kids, and chasing her Pomeranian around. She publishes a website for midlife women, manages a community just for women bloggers over 40, and is one of the partners who hosts the only conference for midlife women bloggers.

We will discuss…Midlife! What to expect when you’re expecting menopause. And so much more!

My co-host, Jay @GeneWildersHair, and I had a blast getting to know Anne on this episode of Ten Minutes in Tinsel Town. I bet you will, too! Check it out and subscribe to my You Tube Channel so you can see all the interviews that I do with inspiring people who shine like the Super Stars they are.
